60 days to change your mindThe TX5 Low GTX is a men's approach shoe from La Sportiva.
Designed for hiking, trekking and via ferrata, the TX5 Low GTX is a model with a lower upper, and is ultra-light with a weight of only 470 g per shoe.
The TX5 Low GTX is a shoe that offers excellent stability, good grip and effective protection on the front of the shoe with its gum stone guard and a wide protective edge that wraps around the shoe to protect you against impacts. In the sole, the Vibram® Megagrip technology guarantees maximum grip and more precision. The heel is widened and equipped with Hiking-oriented studs for better braking on downhill sections and climbing. AnEVA midsole provides extra cushioning and comfort.
The upper is made of high quality nubuck, resulting in a comfortable, insulating and very robust shoe. You will also benefit from good support and from the shoes' relatively light weight, which both support proper foot movement. Its Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane makes for a waterproof and breathable shoe to keep your feet dry all day.
The TX5 Low GTX is therefore the ideal shoe for hikers who are looking for a technical, reliable and light product, which offers maximum versatility to go from approach walks to challenging hikes.
