MTB gloves, glove liners and mittens: there's something for everyone in Snowleader's MTB gloves section! Comfort and dexterity are key factors to consider when choosing mountain bike gloves. It is important to choose a glove which is the right size, as a glove which is too small will constrict your hand, while a glove which is too big will result in reduced dexterity. The vast majority of MTB gloves have a tactile surface on the palm for better grip on the handlebars, as well as a tactile membrane on the index finger to enable you to use your watch or smartphone without having to remove your glove.
Choosing your MTB gloves
MTB gloves vary depending on the discipline they are designed for. If you are going for a downhill session, opt for long gloves, preferably with integrated protection. For enduro riding, thin, breathable gloves will do the trick. You will need different mountain bike gloves for different weather conditions. There are waterproof gloves for wet and cold weather, as well as mittens and very lightweight gloves for hot weather.
