There are several types of telemark bindings. The most common are cable bindings (75 standard), which are both strong and flexible. In recent years, the NTN (New Telemark Norm) bindings have emerged. These bindings offer a cross-country mode for climbing and an easy-to-use setting system.
Each binding has its own advantages. The NTN binding features brakes and lateral release for added safety off-piste.
The 75 standard binding, on the other hand, is lighter and makes the ski more lively. These bindings therefore provide better amplitude.
