The number one enemy when ski touring is blisters and, more generally, sore feet. To reduce aches and pains, it is of course important to wear ski touring boots that fit properly, but a good pair of socks can also make a difference!
Brands such as X-Socks have developed specific socks for ski touring. These socks are made from a special knitted fabric which minimises odours and reduces bacterial growth. These breathable socks also reduce rubbing and pressure points. Anti-blister ski socks are also available.
