Salewa® has developed its own fleece, Polarlite®made from synthetic microfibers. It is particularly lightweight and dries quickly. It offers good heat retention and can be compressed into a backpack. Salewa® uses Polarlite different weights according to the principle of body mapping, to provide targeted warmth exactly where the body needs it. Fleece is extremely versatile. Polarlite is used to make fleece jackets, as an inner lining for jackets, as a membrane (softshell), protection jackets (hardshell) and as base layers, as it can be worn next to the skin. What's more, Polarlite it is resistant and easy to maintain.
