To complete its range of lanyards, the German company Edelrid has developed an asymmetrical Y-lanyard for self-belay.
The Switch Double is made of dynamic energy absorbing rope (Swift 48). It also has an extremely robust sheath-core structure.
What makes this rope popular is its versatility. It consists of two strands of different lengths (75 cm/40 cm) which can be positioned as required. The strands can also be used for rappelling.
The large loop makes it easy to tie to the harness with a cow hitch.
In addition, it is BlueSign certified, a label guaranteeing that no toxic substances have been used during production.
