The Svalbard 3.0 brand’s Ferrino is a lightweight yet extremely resistant two-person expedition tent designed for professionals, mountaineers and explorers who face extreme conditions.

This sleek tunnel tent offers excellent durability against wind and cold. Its 70D recycled polyester ripstop flysheet offers an optimal balance of weight and protection, as does its inner lining, which is made from the same material and features a flame-retardant coating. With a waterproof rating of 3,000 mm and excellent breathability, this tent will protect you from bad weather and extreme temperatures. Its extremely resistant base is made from 210D Oxford Polyester. What’s more, the seams are taped and the three-layer construction provides reinforcement for the corners. The aluminium hoops are very light and resistant, and the tent pegs will allow you to pitch your tent on any type of ground. A flap at the bottom of the tent will protect you from the elements or provide excellent ventilation, depending on the weather conditions.

On the comfort level, this tent won’t let you down. It has two entrances, each with an apse where you can store bulky material (boots, bags, etc.). The doors are fitted with mosquito nets that fold away completely, and there are ventilation openings in the tent so you can adjust the temperature to suit your needs. Inside the tent, there are pockets to help you organise your gear. Loops on the outer part of the tent will also allow you to secure your tent in the snow using items such as a pair of skis or ice axes. Reflective elements, designed for your security, will ensure you remain visible in all circumstances.
