The Summit 48+5 alpine backpack from Ferrino is a lightweight and versatile piece of equipment, designed to meet the demands of mountain adventures.

Its roll-top closure system provides effective protection for your gear, while its detachable hood offers an additional 5 litres of volume and includes a security pocket for valuables. For optimal organisation, it features gusseted side pockets, a zippered rear pocket equipped with a key clip, and a dedicated compartment for avalanche safety equipment. Functionality is enhanced by the presence of a helmet holder and ice axe loops, as well as carrying systems for rope, skis, and snowshoes. Retractable lateral compression straps allow for volume adjustment and secure loading.

Comfort and practicality are also well addressed, with a removable waist strap featuring a pocket and a chest strap integrating a safety whistle. Gear loops are positioned on the waist belt and inside the back panel, complemented by additional webbing for carrying extra equipment. Front access to the contents is facilitated by a water-repellent vertical zip. The pack is also compatible with a Helmet Holder and a hydration system. The Hollow Back System carrying system, combining padded channels with 3D quick-dry mesh, promotes ventilation and comfort during exertion. A removable aluminium frame in the back ensures good support and efficient load distribution. The printed SOS instructions inside add a valuable safety feature. Made primarily from 210D ripstop nylon with a polyethylene back panel, this 48-litre pack combines durability and lightness.
