The G-1000® material is sturdy but G-1000® HeavyDuty goes above and beyond. Greenland Wax is applied on both sides, to give durability a new dimension. As a result, it is less breathable than classic G-1000® and is used for products where durability is more important than ventilation. This results in the reinforcement of materials in areas that are more susceptible to heavy wear and tear and for many backpacks.
The G-1000® HeavyDuty Eco S is used for greater flexibility. Slightly lighter than the classic version, due to its finer weave, it is made from recycled polyester and organic cotton
