This product is a 2-piece activated carbon kit from the brand Katadyn.

Compatible with filters Explorer and activated carbon post-filters, these pieces of carbon have a lifespan that depends on the quality of the water. They must be replaced after six months of continuous use at the latest, or as soon as the water retains an unpleasant taste or odour even after being filtered.

The higher the chemical content of the water or the more unpleasant its taste, the lower the filtration capacity of the activated carbon (which is a maximum of 500 litres per unit).
