| TREATMENT |
This is the standard treatment applied to all ropes to ensure they retain EDELRID’s renowned flexibility. The process involves a heat treatment that perfectly aligns the strands of the core and the sheath. A special heat treatment first relaxes and then shrinks the fibres of the rope. This ensures that the strands slide smoothly within the rope, making it flexible and compact. The result is the creation of ropes that will not shrink over time or become stiff quickly. |
| No pre-lubrication is required before the first use. The ropes fitted with these are wound into a skein. |
