Ms Wildfire Edge Premium Navy/Fluo Yellow

The Ms Wildfire Edge Premium is a technical approach shoe by Salewa.

Designed to make the wearer feel steady on technical climbs or on the approach to a climbing route, the Ms Wildfire Edge Premium combines a low-cut upper with all of the advantages of a mountaineering shoe. It was designed with invaluable advice from guides and climbers and its greatest strength is in its Switchfit system. This clever system can be used as follows:

If the climb starts to become technical and rocky, you just need to tighten the laces where the eyelet sits on the back of the shoe. This will push the foot forward, which provides a better hold and compresses the toes creating the heightened sensitivity you'd find in a mountain climbing shoe or rock climbing shoe.

Once the climb is over, you can free up space by releasing the back eyelet and going back to the comfort of a walking shoe.

As for the rest of the shoe, it has a range of technical features. There's the Pomoca Speed MTN sole which is made of Butilic. This provides unprecedented grip whether the weather is dry or wet. And then there is the Exa Shell technology associated with the 3F system that ensures flexibility and foot support. The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole enables the sole to adapt to the shape of the foot and has Alpine Fit technology blister-free guaranteed.
