| Merino wool | The comfort and performance of merino wool are simply exceptional. It is soft and very flexible. An excellent thermal insulator, it regulates body temperature perfectly in both Winter and summer. It can absorb up to a third of its weight in water vapour; the warmth it provides prevents you from feeling cold, and even when wet, the clothes stay warm... Wool fibres are naturally durable, do not attract dirt easily and have antibacterial properties, significantly reducing unpleasant odours and the need for washing. Like any natural material, merino wool is biodegradable. |
| Lyocell - Tencel® | The manufacture lyocell is a method of producing hybrid fibre that is far more environmentally friendly than those used for modal or Viscose, in which almost all the chemicals used are recycled. “ Lyocell ” is the generic name for both the manufacture process and the fibre. Lenzing AGTencel® is the brand name for Lyocell marketed by the company. Tencel® is made from eucalyptus sourced from PEFC-certified forests, as it grows quickly without the use of pesticides, fertilisers or irrigation. |
