The Jackal II is a men's trail running shoe from the brand La Sportiva.

The Jackal II is an ultra-lightweight shoe, with a weight of just 275 g per shoe – that’s 30 g lighter than the first version of the model! Designed for endurance trail runs and ultra-marathons, it is suitable for all types of trail running but is particularly well-suited to long distances and extended training sessions.

This model offers exceptional cushioning thanks to its innovative energy return technology Infinitoo. This provides excellent shock absorption and guarantees a high level of energy return during races, helping to prevent unnecessary fatigue and protect your joints from repeated impact.

It also Jackal II ensures excellent comfort thanks to its comfortable, loose-fitting design, which is ideal for long distances. Its recycled Net Mesh construction ensures highly effective ventilation. Its new tongue hugs the foot perfectly for maximum freedom of movement, whilst offering excellent breathability and lightness during your races. The lacing system, made from recycled materials, features loops integrated directly into the side panels of the upper, allowing for a customised fit that is better suited to long races, during which the foot tends to swell. The heel has been completely redesigned and rebuilt using new materials to ensure a better fit and improved Grip.

When it comes to grip, the sole FriXion Red offers the perfect balance between traction, durability and shock absorption. It is extremely versatile and has been designed to cope with all types of terrain, including rock, scree, grass, moss and mud. Fitted with side Impact Brake System studs, it offers unbeatable adhesion/grip in all conditions! What’s more, a sole made of EVA provides even greater cushioning and comfort, whilst a side insert Rock Guard made of EVA stabilises the foot and protects it from impact.
