TREATMENT THERMO SHIELD	This is the standard treatment applied to all strings to ensure their renowned flexibility Edelrid. The process involves a heat treatment that perfectly aligns the strands of the core and the sheath. A special heat treatment first relaxes and then shrinks the fibres of the rope. This ensures that the strands slide smoothly within the rope, making it flexible and compact. The result is the creation of ropes that will not shrink over time or become stiff quickly.
3D LAP COIL	No pre-lubrication is required before the first use. The ropes fitted with these are wound into a skein.
ECO DRY	Fully treatedEdelrid, meaning that both the sheath and the core of the rope have been chemically treated to withstand water, dust and mud. Water absorption of less than 2% according to the test UIAA Water Repellent.
