Guardian Pump

The MSR Guardian Purifier Pump is a water purifier developed in conjunction with the US Military. This is an extremely high performance portable water filter and is capable of treating 2.5 litres a minute from any water source.

It does not use chemicals and functions without batteries or UV bulbs. In terms of autonomy, it can treat up to 10,000 litres of water. This decive can also withstand freezing temperatures!


This water filter uses 2 types of technology:

1 - Hollow fibres: The most trustworthy method of removing pathogens including viruses, the tiniest waterborne microbiological threats. As water travels through these hollow fibres, dirt and harmful microbes are trapped and eliminated.

2 - Self-cleansing system: On every stroke, the purifier uses 10% of its water to flush the contaminants in its filter back into the source. This system ensures a rapid flow rate no matter how dirty the water is.
