The Giga Jul Belay Kit Strike Screw is a belay device designed by Edelrid.
This product comes with a HMS Strike Screw carabiner and can be used with ropes with a diameter ranging from 7.1 to 10 mm. This belay devide is made of aluminum and has a stainless steel construction in the areas most exposed to abrasion. The standard braking tuber mode allows you to belay and abseil seconds easily and efficiently. The assisted braking tuber increases rope friction when a second falls. There is an eyelet on the Giga Jul to switch from assisted braking to standard braking, that can be easily unlocked using a carabiner.
