This harness is designed to facilitate handling during rope ascents. This is a very practical advantage, especially when caving where such manipulations are frequent.
The Explo has an X-shaped construction. This makes it very easy to adjust, there is no need to connect it to the harness and the tension on the ventral ascender can be adjusted with one hand using a quick adjustment buckle.
To make it easier for you to organise, it also has two extra gear loops to complement your harness.
Finally, during a caving exploration, you will necessarily rub against the walls. To counter this, Petzl has reinforced theExplo straps with plastic materials specifically designed for increased durability
- Allows efficient holding of the CROLL ventral ascender on rope ascents,
- Two high tenacity polyethylene (HDPE) gear loops and two loops on each shoulder strap to carry equipment (PULSE temporary anchor, plates, wrenches, etc.).
- Easy-to-adjust X-shaped construction without connection to the harness,
- Precise and instantaneous adjustment of the tension on the CROLL ventral ascender, thanks to the chest strap equipped with a quick adjustment buckle.
- Abrasion resistant strap for excellent durability,
- Chest strap made of high tenacity polyethylene (HDPE), extremely durable over time,
- Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) back brace for better abrasion resistance
