Attache

The Attache is a carabiner from Petzl.

Thanks to its compact size and its SCREW-LOCK system, the Attache can be used for a variety of purposes related to belaying: connecting a belay system to a harness, belaying on a clove hitch etc. It is H-shaped for increased lightness and features the Keylock system to prevent the carabiner from snagging when in use.

Easy to use for efficient manoeuvers:

- SCREW-LOCK system for a secure grip and effective locking,

- Visual indicator for easy control of closure,

- nose and Keylock system designed to prevent accidental snagging of carabiner during manoeuvers

- carabiner designed to facilitate rope positioning and ensure proper positioning of the belay device

With manual systems (SCREW-LOCK), the gate must be locked thanks to the screw. It is recommended for carabiners that are handled occasionally, such as the main carabiner of a belay. Manual systems are also recommended for use in dirty environments, where dust and dirt could interfere with the proper operation of the automatic locking mechanisms.

The Attache carabiner has a "pear" shape for securing multiple ropes, slings or other devices, and facilitates swiveling of the knot when belaying on clove hitch.
