Ange Gray

The Ange Gray is an automatic locking carabiner from the brand Petzl , sold individually.

This carabiner features an H-shaped profile that optimizes the balance between lightness and durability, as well as a monofilament gate for smooth opening. Its asymmetrical shape ensures optimal load distribution, making it versatile for a wide range of uses with harnesses, lanyards and anchor points. It incorporates a system Keylock that prevents unwanted snagging on the gear holder, anchor or rope, whilst its opening at the tip facilitates the removal of ice, snow or grit.

Made from aluminium, this carabiner has a large contact surface with the rope and the anchor point, thereby increasing its durability. Its flat back ensures optimum stability when held in the hand or clipped onto a carabiner. It has a durability of 20 kN along the major axis, 7 kN along the minor axis and 8 kN with the finger open, making it a reliable piece of climbing equipment.
