Available only in storeThe Alto TR2 is a very lightweight, 3-season, two-person tent from the brand Sea To Summit.
It features a mesh inner tent to improve ventilation and reduce weight, making it the ideal tent for ultralight hiking in warm and dry terrain.
The Alto TR2 is equipped with a Tension Ridge architecture that offers you more space, greater height, and better ventilation for enhanced comfort! The tent also benefits from two vestibules to store all your gear and two entrances for added convenience. Its FairShare storage system allows you to distribute the weight in your backpack or between two people. The tent has two vents for optimal ventilation, which can be adjusted from inside the tent to cope with all weather conditions.
The Alto TR2 offers 5 pitching options for greater versatility: the Dry Set-Up, which involves pitching the rainfly first; the Fly Only, which is rainfly-only pitching; the Inner Only, which is inner tent only; the Partial Fly, which is partial rainfly pitching; and finally the classic full tent setup. Additionally, the Lightfoot and Bigfoot ground sheets are compatible with this tent to make it even more durable and comfortable!
The Alto TR2 is therefore an ultralight and comfortable tent to accompany you on all your adventures as a pair!

| TENSION RIDGE | The poles of the Tension Ridge are angled upwards, like the dihedral wing of an airplane, rather than downwards as is often the case in tents. This improves the tent’s shape, significantly increasing head and shoulder space, allowing for taller doors, easier access, and more usable space in the vestibule. |
| QUICK-CONNECT POLE FEET | Typical of Sea to Summit’s commitment to refining details to make gear frictionless and more functional, these machined aluminium clips allow the double roof to be set up quickly and easily (either with the inner tent or with a footprint in an ultralight configuration). They are much more durable than plastic buckles. |
| FAIR-SHARE STORAGE / LIGHTBAR | Each Sea to Summit tent packs into three storage bags to allow you to easily split the load. When pitching, two bags convert into gear storage pockets, while the pole storage bag (with a translucent diffuser) becomes a light bar. Add one or two headlamps for soft lighting throughout the day. |
| APEX VENT / BASELINE VENT | Installed at the highest point, the Apex vents allow warm, humid air to escape and fresh air to enter the tent. The vent can be easily closed with a zip from inside the tent and does not require mesh to maintain its shape, greatly improving airflow. The Baseline vent lets you control humidity in damp conditions by opening or closing the lower part of the door, while maintaining vestibule function and rain protection for your gear. |
