It has a steel blade with a thickness varying between 4 and 3 mm. This allows it to remain powerful despite its light weight, with good piercing capabilities in hard snow or ice. Its aluminium handle means it only weighs 290g. The curvature of the handle optimises the strike without distorting the support.
Finally, there are grooves on the bottom of the handle for a comfortable grip.
