The new models in the Aircontact X range are ideal for the expert hiker who is looking for a practical, comfortable and well ventilated backpack.
Specially designed for long distances off the beaten track relying solely on your gear, this pack features a flexible V-Frame inner frame that allows maximum load transfer to the VariFlex mobile hip stabilisers to minimise carrying effort. The ergonomic Aircontact with the new Air Spacer Mesh foam offers you very good ventilation with 15% less perspiration compared to an ordinary backpack.
For individual comfort, the VariSlide system ensures perfect back length adjustment in the blink of an eye, while the Pull-Forward system makes it easy to adjust the abdominal strap. You can also easily adjust the mobile ActiFit straps and the chest straps.
Very practical, this model has several compartments, including a separate one on the bottom of the bag and an expandable one inside the bag to store your wet things. Thanks to the removable compression straps, you can adapt the contents of your bag to your trek and desired use.

Deuter Aircontact Back System:
- High loads are carried more easily when backpack and carrier form a unit. This is the principle of Aircontact: the carrying system is close to the body and the weight therefore remains close to its centre of gravity. This guarantees complete control and efficient load transfer.
- At the same time, the breathable back cushions provide pleasant ventilation by pumping out 15% less perspiration with every movement compared to an ordinary backpack in contact with the body.
