This ice axe is THE ice axe par excellence, a classic. The steel blade has been hot forged in a single piece in Italy's Valle d'Aosta region, making it highly resistant to wear and tear and giving it greater inertia for planting its bevelled tip in the ice.
What's more, the slightly curved handle is ideal as a walking stick for glacier trekking or mountaineering. This makes it the perfect technical tool for cutting your way through blocks of ice by hammering in pitons and steel spikesin complete safety. Finally, its adjustable Long Leash Evo strap and excellent grip mean you won't lose your ice axe.
