" Zabardast "is the intimate travel diary of an extraordinary expedition: a group of mountaineers and riders set out to conquer one of the most beautiful and remote skiable mountains in the world: the North Tower Biacherahithe North Tower, 5,880 m, in the Karakorum massif in Pakistan.
The photographer and director Jérôme Tanon with a medium-format film camera brought back unique colour and black and white pictures.
The raw texts of their logs allow us to experience the adventure from the inside, as close as possible to their fears and doubts as they embark on a 150 km loop on the wildest and most unexplored glaciers.
