The Vapor is a climbing helmet from Black Diamond.

This helmet is light, breathable and comfortable. The Vapor is only 186 grams, an ultra-lightweight helmet with generous vents and a fully adjustable padded suspension system. 

Offering ultra-light, space-saving, ventilated head protection like never before and a safe and comfortable fit, the Vapor is a versatile climbing helmet that proves that helmets are not just for long climbs and multi-pitch routes.

Black Diamond has inserted a sheet of Kevlar and a series of carbon rods between the co-moulded EPS foam and the polycarbonate  shell to keep the weight down to a minimum while still providing effective protection. The Vapor's racheting suspension system tucks into the helmet to provide compact storage in the bag. Removable headlamp clips provide the reliability needed to keep your headlamp firmly in place for pre-dawn departures or nightfall rapping.
