Toponeige Ecrins Nord

ECRINS NORD covers the basins of Drac (Beaumont. Valjouffrey. Valsenestre. Malsanne) and Romanche (Lignare, Vénéon, sources de la Romanche). The classics of mountain skiing and many new ones are gathered on or around the great summits: Rochail. Muzelle, Olan, Fétoules, Rouies, Bans, Ailefroide, Ecrins, Soreiller, Rateau, Meije, Grande Ruine, Neige Cordier, Agneaux. The Toponeige data sheets describe in detail 183 basic routes (and almost 200 variants), plotted on 285 photos. All the routes described have been skied, but Toponeige also makes it a guide for the hiker or mountaineer wishing to climb the F (easy) and D (difficult) level routes during the eight months of the year when the slopes of Ecrins are covered with snow.
