The Tempest series benefits from an AirScape back developed by Osprey, which is combined with a wraparound waist belt to improve stability, hip support and overall comfort. This new foam back has been designed to have a back that allows for good air circulation but also allows good freedom of movement. The carrying system of the Tempest 50 is adjustable and has a specific feminine shape, with an ergonomic abdominal belt, shoulder straps, spacer and back panel.

The Tempest 50 has a pocket on the front of the bag, which is perfect for wet clothes for example. Zipped pockets on each side of the lap belt allow quick access to small items such as a smartphone, energy bar or GPS device.
