A real reference on the trail-running shoes market, the Speedgoat are presented this year in their 4th version! Inspired by the renowned athlete Karl Meltzer, holder of the most victories in ultra-trail racing, the Speedgoat 4 is still the same, but it continues to improve with the integration of a gusseted tongue, designed in a very light mesh, which offers even more comfort than before, and a very light PU structure on the sides to increase stability.
It's a real weapon on the technical trails regardless of the distance. The side tabs made of PU make it even more covering, providing an incredible feeling of stability. Nevertheless, the Speedgoat 4 does not shrink and still offers exceptional comfort. Hoka One One has also redesigned its stone guard, which is now stronger with a denser PU to improve foot protection. This evolution is logical in view of the shoe's favourite playground, namely technical trails.
The rest of the shoe remains unchanged. The outsole is always equipped with Vibram® studs. These are deep, aggressive and multidirectional studs that will give you a great grip no matter what terrain you are on. Cushioning is always one of the big assets of this Speedgoat 4. Made possible thanks to a CMEVA block, it offers a perfect balance between comfort and dynamism, to increase your performance while pampering your feet even over long distances. This 4th version is equipped with a new lighter foam for a more comfortable and dynamic stride.

Upper:
Mesh upper for excellent breathability
3D-printed coverings provide extra support in the middle of the foot and a better fit for an optimised feeling of security.

Vibram® Mega-Grip rubber outsole with good traction on both dry and wet surfaces
5 mm "raised" studs for optimised support and stability.

Midsole volume: Up to 2.5 times better than standard running shoes, with a new specific foam that is lighter and offers a more dynamic stride
