The evolution of the legendary
Its Contagrip® sole incorporates even wider and more widely spaced lugs that will give you even better grip both uphill and downhill. On this new version, the heel has been redesigned to wrap around the back of your foot. This will make your foot more secure by providing better stability to the shoe, also allowing you to attack the terrain with greater precision.
In terms of comfort, the Speedcross 5 uses the SensiFit™ system but in a welded upper to avoid friction points and provide a more natural foot stride for maximum comfort. The Quicklace™ lacing system ensures an excellent fit, while the EnergyCell+ midsole provides good cushioning. This version incorporates a waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane, which will keep your feet dry even in wet or muddy conditions.
