The Speedcross 5 GTX for men by the Salomon brand is a versatile trail/running shoe.

Evolved from the legendary Speedcross 4 GTX, it offers even better grip, comfort and stability to ensure flawless performance.

Its Contagrip® soles incorporate even larger studs with improved spacing, which provide enhanced grip both on the way up and on the way down. The heel has been revisited on this new model to provide enhanced support to the back of the foot. This offers better protection to the foot by improving stability, so you can hit the ground with more accuracy.

In terms of comfort, the Speedcross 5 also incorporates the SensiFit™ system, but here it sits within a welded sole which enables friction points to be avoided and provides a more natural foot strike, with the aim of ensuring maximum comfort.The Quicklace™ lacing system provides a more accurate fit so the foot is well maintained, whereas the EnergyCell + midsole has good cushioning. This model incorporates a waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane, which will keep your feet dry even when walking through damp or muddy terrain.
