The Smart HMS 2.0 Screwgate brand's Mammut Grey is a lightweight and resistant safety carabiner for use with the belay device Smart 2.0.

It benefits from improved construction, greater durability and reduced weight, and offers double security with easy handling. This carabiner has a double security feature: its screw lock can only be used when the security catch Safety Gate is open. Accidental opening is impossible, as is unintentional rotation of the carabiner in the harness's rope loop. This avoids any risk of dangerous transverse stress.
