| 30D Ultra-Sil | An incredibly lightweight yet durable fabric, used in a Big number of products Sea to Summit. This 30 denier Nylon is manufactured with CORDURA yarns for durability, woven in a ripstop pattern. Water-resistant products (such as Ultra-Sil Stuff Sacks) are siliconised on both sides for ease of packaging Waterproof products (such as UltraSil Dry Sack) are siliconised on the outside and PU-coated on the inside to allow seams to be bonded. Both versions have a hydrostatic head in excess of 2000 mm, making them more than waterproof for the types of environment they are designed for. |
| eVent fabric | The eVent fabric is a waterproof and breathable laminate used in two different functional areas of Sea to Summit products: Based on our best-selling dry compression bags eVent, our dry bags Evac and our dry compression bags Ultra-Sil. In this application, the laminate uses a 40-denier nylon face fabric: the material allows air to be expelled from the dry bag/compression sack but prevents water from entering. This means you can compress the air in a dry bag without needing a purge valve! |
