Technologies:

30D Ultra-Sil

An incredibly lightweight yet durable fabric used in a wide range of products Sea to Summit. This 30-denier Nylon is made with yarns CORDURA for durability, woven in a ripstop pattern. Water-resistant products (such as Ultra-Sil Stuff Sacks) are siliconised on both sides for easier packaging. Waterproof products (such as UltraSil Dry Sack) are siliconised on the outer side and coated with PU on the inside to allow the seams to be bonded. Both versions have a hydrostatic head of over 2000 mm, making them more than waterproof for the types of environments for which they are intended.

eVent fabric

The fabric eVent is a waterproof and breathable laminate used in two different functional areas of the products Sea to Summit : In our range of dry compression sacks eVent, dry bags Evac and dry compression sacks Ultra-Sil, which are our best sellers. In this application, the laminate uses a 40 denier Nylon surface fabric: the material allows air to be expelled from the dry bag/compression dry bag but prevents water from entering. This means that you can compress the air in a dry bag without needing a bleed valve!
