This lighter version of the Classic model features an ergonomic, high-precision cast stainless steel striking head. As for the shaft, it is made from an aluminium alloy used in the aerospace industry for its high durability. Finally, this trapezoidal-shaped ice axe ensures a secure and optimized grip, whilst the head geometry has been updated to ensure more secure placements, step-cutting and progression across crevasse-ridden terrain.

A small handy extra: a steel tip has been added to the lower part of the shaft so it can be used as an ice axe.
