Pipamoka

The Pipamoka is a portable spillover coffee maker from the brand Wacaco.

The Pipamoka is very compact and won't take up more space than a regular mug in your backpack while still containing the accessories you need to make great coffee on the go.

Its patented construction, combined with its innovative twisting mechanism, generates vacuum pressure inside the cup. This negative pressure generates a suction force that draws the hot water down through the coffee grounds. The coffee is then brewed directly into the insulated cup, in which it will remain hot for hours.

Pipamoka uses a permanent micro-filtering mesh to allow the valuable natural oils to pass into the cup, contributing to richer flavours. The brewing ratio is similar to standard drip or infusion methods, close to 1:15 (1g of ground coffee to 15ml of water). We recommend using a medium coarse grind for optimum brewing performance.
