60 days to change your mindThe Mafate Speed 2 from Hoka One One are trail running shoes for men.
They have been designed to be able to tackle all types of terrain thanks to their 5 mm Vibram® Mega-Grip lugs that ensure excellent grip on medium to long trails.
With exceptional cushioning, the Mafate Speed 2 is a dynamic shoe that boosts your stride thanks to its curved sole profile under the metas, a bit like wheels for the feet, reducing the difference in height between the heel and the toes of the runner. You'll be able to go full throttle on the descent without giving it a second thought.
This new version of the Mafate Speed 2 features a deeper "bucket" midsole than the previous ones in order to give you the best possible support, especially on rough terrain. The bucket seat wraps around the runner's heel and foot, adapting to their morphology and running style, for an even more fluid foot roll.
Add to that a soft outsole with deep grooves, as well as a lightweight, seamless SpeedFrame construction, and you have a shoe that will have no problem accompanying you on long-distance technical trails!

Midsole volume: Up to 2.5 times greater than standard running shoes, with specific cushioning materials for better performance. Advantage: Excellent shock absorption and naturally stable stride.
Meta-Rocker: The geometry of the Meta-Rocker midsole, specifically designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole radius at the heel and toes, creates a unique support point effect and promotes a guided gait cycle. Advantage: Maintains runner's shape and promotes rapid, progressive movement from heel to toe.
RMAT® midsole and outsole: A compound developed by Hoka One One with specific rebound and strength qualities. Advantage: Offers exceptional grip and rebound.
