No subject to promotional offersThe G5 from La Sportiva is a high altitude boot that will accompany you on your ascents to the highest peaks. This ultra-technical mountaineering boot has been studied in the smallest details to offer you the best balance of modern technologies.
The G5 combines the lightness of a single-gaiter shoe with the same insulating properties of a double-gaiter shoe. An insulating and protective high altitude boot for a low weight of 855g per foot. The G5 is equipped with a Boa quick-lacing system that can be used with gloves to avoid wasting energy unnecessarily.
The external high Cordura gaiter will provide waterproofing, fit and good protection. The inner gaiter is composed of 4 layers for the best thermal insulation.
The G5 is fully compatible with crampons, to give you the best grip possible.

° Sole: Vibram Matterhorn with IBS (Impact Brake System): tested on the highest peaks, Vibram soles maintain performance at very low temperatures. Built for maximum support and durability.
° IMPACT BRAKE SYSTEM: This innovative system is applied to the sole in order to absorb the negative impact on the ground, stimulate traction on the way up and improve grip on the way down. The unique positioning of the crampons allows as many of them as possible to be in contact with the ground, for optimal impact absorption.
° Outer gaiter made from waterproof and anti-abrasion elastic Cordura® + functional elastic fabric + waterproof membrane
° Inner gaiter: 4-layer insulating structure: waterproof Cordura® + anti-trauma insulating felt + polyethylene insulating barrier + breathable anti-abrasion mesh
° Closing system: Velcro in the upper part, BOA® Fit System in the lower part, waterproof external zip
° Outsole: Honey-Comb Tech 3mm insulating carbon
° Midsole: 2mm polyurethane with uneven thickness in toe and heel for crampon coupling.
