The most popular format for 130 years, the Tradition Classique T7 from the brand Opinel is a useful knife for all daily manual tasks or when out and about in nature. It fits in any pocket and accompanies you on all your adventures.

It consists of a beech wood shaft, sourced from French forests, which is hard and resistant, and varnished for better protection against moisture and dirt. Its fine, robust Yatagan blade is made from modified 12C27 stainless steel , Sandvikrenowned for its sharpness and ease of maintenance. The leather strap allows you to take it with you wherever you go, attached to a belt loop or backpack hook. This model is equipped with a dual security system Virobloc, allowing the blade to be locked in either the open or closed position.

Stainless steel Sandvik	Sandvik's modified 12C27 stainless steel, developed for Opinel, is renowned for its sharpness and ease of maintenance. Steel capable of undergoing heat treatment to give it hardness is called martensitic. It has a carbon content of at least 0.40%, giving the blade sharpness and corrosion durability.
blade Yatagan	The traditional blade of theOpinel East is known as Yatagan. Its shape is inspired by a Turkish sabre, with an upturned tip. The blade is ground to an exclusive curved profile that guarantees its strength and allows for effective re-sharpening.
Security ring Virobloc	Invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, the safety ring is Virobloc fitted to all folding knives from No. 06 upwards. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc consists of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. This system allows the blade to be locked in the open position (for security during use) or closed position (for security during transport).
