Deuter Aircontact Lite System back:
- This lightweight touring bag is ideal for medium loads during multi-day excursions and alpine treks with its perfect balance of comfor, weight transfer, reduced weight and ventilation. It offers a fitted, anatomical and flexible fit with Aircontact pads. Thus, the load remains near the back and center of gravity of the body. This backpack maintains optimal stability to easily carry average loads.
- Reduced perspiration thanks to the pump effect of the Aircontact open pore technical foam. With each movement, the air circulates between the pads and offers a continuous ventilation of the back. Result: 15% less perspiration than with other contact backpacks (proven by a field study conducted by Gabriel L. & T. in cooperation with the University of Erlangen in Germany).
- An optimal fit with a variable back length is guaranteed by the VariQuick system which is adjustable to the back length.
- Up to 70% of the weight is transferred to the hips to relieve the shoulders and back thanks to the X-shaped ergonomic frame. The aluminum cross frames provide a flexible and solid interior frame that follows the body's movements.
- Efficient weight transfer thanks to ergonomic and compact ECL (Ergonomic Comfort Lock) hips designed to fit the hips perfectly. The technical stabilizers adapt to the hips to provide a stable and comfortable load distribution. Their soft foam with AirMesh 3D inside ensures a very comfortable wear and an optimal adaptation to the hips. Side compression straps at the hips help adjust weight transfer and improve stability.
- This backpack is stabilized and the pressure is lightened on the shoulders by tightening the position adjustment straps. The special Triglide buckle on the shoulder straps makes them easy to adjust.
- The ergonomic shoulder straps in S perfectly fit the body to avoid any friction in the neck or on the arms. The AirMesh 3D and the edging in Soft Air Mesh guarantee an optimal comfort and a great breathability.
