The Aequilibrium Speed Gtx are men's mountaineering boots from La Sportiva.

The Aequilibrium range responds to a new trend in mountaineering with technical but lightweight products for faster progress.

In this version, the Aequilibrium Speed Gtx is the perfect balance between performance and ultra lightness. It has a water-repellent gaiter on the exterior made of ultra-resistant stretch fabric with an inner gusset. Underneath this gaiter, the GORE-TEX lined liner offers comfort, breathability and waterproofing. The integrated cushioning in the gaiter protects the ankle and maintains the ergonomic shape of the shoe's construction, enveloping the foot well to regulate internal volume and precision. This liner has a 100% recycled Quick-Lace lacing system, allowing for a precise and practical adjustment, whether you are in the car park or 4000m high.

The sole has a protective edge with a transparent PU anti-puncture film for added lightness, and TPU inserts in the heel area compatible with semi-automatic cleats. To make it easier for the foot to roll, the insole block has a rocker at the front and special Double Heel™ technology in the heel area. This technology involves separating the heel into two pieces for optimised walking comfort and to improve braking capacity on descents. Finally, it is completed by a Vibram® grip and an Impact Brake System to absorb shocks.
