The Nexus MIPS Matte Black helmet is a ski helmet from the Smithbrand.

Recognised as one of the brand's most advanced helmets Smith, it adopts several technologies for optimum protection. Its MIPS® system allows the helmet's outer shell to slide relative to the head as it hits the ground, thus protecting the brain, while the Koroyd® system absorbs the energy of the impact, while still being very light.

It also features an antimicrobial Ionic+® lining that controls odours associated with perspiration. What's more, twenty-four adjustable ventilation holes at the front and back will let you adjust the airflow to suit your needs.

There's no point in having all this technology if the helmet doesn't fit your head perfectly. That's why Smith has built into its Nexus MIPS helmet a BOA® 360 Fit tightening system that fits all heads to within a millimetre.
