No subject to promotional offersThe Nexus MIPS Matte Black helmet is a ski helmet from the brand Smith.
Recognised as one of the most advanced helmets from Smith, it features several technologies for optimal protection. Its MIPS® system allows the outer shell of the helmet to slide relative to the head upon impact, thereby protecting the brain, while the Koroyd® system absorbs the energy of the shock, all while being very lightweight.
It is also equipped with an antimicrobial Ionic+® liner that controls odours caused by sweat. Additionally, twenty-four adjustable ventilation holes at the front and rear allow you to regulate airflow according to your needs. All these technologies are of no use if the helmet does not fit your head perfectly. That is why Smith has integrated the BOA® 360 Fit adjustment system into the Nexus MIPS helmet, which fits all head shapes down to the millimetre.
- Exoskeleton providing enhanced protection against side impacts
- Ionic+™ antimicrobial lining to prevent bad odours
- Fidlock strap buckle operable with one hand
- Climate control with dual adjustable regulators, front and back, operable with one hand
- 24 ventilation points
- AirEvac™ ventilation to prevent fogging on the goggle lens (not included)
- Compatible with Aleck™ audio system
- Carry bag included in the kit
Certification : ASTM F 2040, CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B
| KOROYD™ | The primary goal of Koroyd™ is to absorb energy in the event of an impact and protect the user from serious injury. In addition to being a leading energy absorber, Koroyd™ is also extremely breathable and ultra-lightweight. |
| MIPS® | Multidirectional Impact Protection System: MIPS® is a revolutionary technology that mimics the brain’s natural protection system. The low-friction layer of MIPS® creates a sliding margin between the helmet and the head, providing enhanced protection against brain injuries caused by violent rotational forces during oblique impacts. |
| BOA® | The adjustable Boa® systems gently distribute pressure for all-day comfort without weighing down your gear. |
