Taking good care of your technical clothing means it'll last longer!
Once you have bought your ski outfit, remember to maintain it! This is particularly true for GORE-TEX products. Over time, dust and dirt can clog the pores of your membrane, and your jacket/pants may no longer be as waterproof and breathable. Snowleader offers you a wide range of maintenance products for your technical clothing.
How do I take care of my ski jacket?
Go ahead and use products specifically designed for cleaning technical clothing, such as the Nikwax range. Step one? Wash with a small amount of washing powder and at maximum 40°C. No fabric softener. The next step is drying: in the open air or on a delicate cycle in the tumble dryer. You should also place a towel between the jacket/pants and your iron.
