Les Bâtons d'Alain Alain Desez, are hiking and ski touring poles developed by the Chamonix-based mountain guide and mountaineer .

Extremely versatile, they can be used for summer hiking or trail running as well as for winter ski touring or snowshoeing. Their main selling point is their long, ergonomic grip (which won the Gold Medal at the Concours Lépine in Paris in 2011). Thanks to this, your hands will always be in the correct position, never coming into contact with the Shaft, and you’ll enjoy excellent support.

These single-strandpoles, which are slightly flexible and fitted with a tungsten tip, ensure optimal energy transfer, whilst the lack of a wrist strap makes them comfortable and safe to use, particularly for ski touring and freeride skiing. For your security, reflective strips are attached to the poles to make you more visible at night.

Finally, two pairs of removable baskets (38mm at 5g / 85mm at 14g) are supplied for your adventures on dry or snow-covered ground. Available in a widerange of colours, and with the same high performance, you’re bound to find one you like!
