Women’s touring skis -

The Zero G 88 W 2027 Cold Ice is a women’s touring ski from the brand Blizzard.
The Zero G 88 W is part of the Zero G touring range, which is characterised by an ultralight construction for maximum performance on the ascent while maintaining excellent behaviour on the descent.
Returning this year in a new version, with its 88 mm underfoot, it is the lightest and narrowest model in the range and stands out for its climbing qualities. Over the years and through its evolutions, the Zero G 88 W has become one of the most iconic and critically acclaimed skis on the ski touring market.
Designed with the W.S.D. TrueBlend Tour Woodcore, it combines the lightness of paulownia with the durability of poplar to achieve smooth and robust skiability. To increase torsional resistance and stiffness, Blizzard incorporates an ash insert into the wood core, ensuring good stability in the most demanding conditions.
The result is a stable, powerful, and grippy ski without the weight on the ascent. With its reduced double rocker shape, the Zero G 88 W is very manoeuvrable and the flotation remains good despite relatively narrow sidecuts. The main asset of this 88 version is its weight of 1080 g, allowing you to cover very large elevation gains and still keep energy for the descent.
The Zero G 88 W is a perfect ski touring choice for advanced female tourers who want a very fast and high-performing ski on the ascent, while still retaining good sensations on the descent!

| TRUEBLEND TOUR WOODCORE | The Trueblend Tour wood core is optimised for the balance of your skis, with lightweight paulownia and more durable poplar precisely blended to achieve smooth skiability and proven robustness. By using less carbon in the construction and more poplar in the core, the result is a more versatile, playful ski that inspires greater confidence in every turn. This blend offers flexibility where it matters most: stiffness underfoot for stability, and softer tips and endpieces for effortless turn initiation and better adaptability to the terrain. |
| ASH WOOD INSERT | "Wood is good." For exceptional durability and smooth control, the Zero G incorporates an ash wood insert in the core. Strategically placed underfoot, this material provides torsional rigidity and power transmission exactly where it’s needed most, avoiding the nervousness of carbon. Ash ensures excellent stability even in the most demanding conditions, while maintaining a playful feel for all your adventures. |
| 5 RADIUS SIDECUT | Dynamic control, smooth turns. When precision meets versatility, our innovative 5-radius sidecut design divides the ski into zones with different radii to create a unique balance between edge grip, control, and fluidity. A straighter central radius boosts confidence on steep and icy terrain, while smoother transitions towards the tip and endpiece allow for fluid turns and adaptability in all snow conditions. Perfect for technical ascents as well as the most rhythmic descents. |
| W.S.D. CONSTRUCTION (W2W) | The "Women Specific Design" is at the heart of our international Women to Women (W2W) programme ("by women, for women"). Product excellence is a founding pillar of our brand, and we continually work to ensure our products are designed, developed, tested, and retested with the support of our W2W team. The goal is to ensure that the skis and boots we create deserve the W2W logo, as each product has a specific purpose and relevance for our female audience. |
