Freeride by its DNA, all-mountain by its versatility, the Stratos snowboard from the brand Jones is designed to perform in all conditions, from deep powder to spring snow.
Its directional shape combines a longer nose, a shortened endpiece/hinge mount and a setback to optimise float, maneuverability and edge hold. The Freeride CamRock profile, with its camber underfoot and differentiated rockers, offers excellent powder displacement while maintaining powerful edge hold and remarkable stability at high speed.
Its moderate taper further improves flotation and manoeuvrability without compromising on piste performance. The High Traction Tech enhances control on hard snow thanks to three additional contact points per edge. The 3D Contour Base High smooths transitions and facilitates changes of direction, especially on uneven terrain.
On the construction side, the Power Core combines bamboo, paulownia and poplar to blend lightness, durability and pop. The biaxial fiberglass and ampliTex™ Carbon/Linen reinforcements provide responsiveness and precision, while the 8000 sintered base guarantees fast and long-lasting glide.
From the first fresh descent to long spring days, the Stratos is a true machine to explore the mountain in all its forms.
