The Wayback 92 is a women's touring ski from K2.
The Wayback range offers excellent downhill performance, great grip and impressive stability in all snow conditions. This range has also been fitted with Snowphobic hydrophobic topsheets. These prevent snow from sticking to the top of your skis, which would weigh your skis down. Ingenious! The Skin Grommets system is very easy to use and ultra-reliable. The core is made of Paulownia Tour Lite wood which makes the ski light and gives it excellent behavior uphill and downhill.
The Wayback with its 92mm waist, is the intermediate ski in the range. This ski goes down just as well as it goes up. Uh... that's the effect that has made this ski become a must-have over the years. With intermediate dimensions and a very limited weight, going up and down on long day trips, or over several days will be easy. As well as its ease when climbing, the ski is also very able when in downhill mode. It is very manageable, and slaloming between the trees of a forest full of powder is its favourite hobby. The Wayback 92's impressive agility will get you out of hazardous situations when riding in couloirs. The Wayback is also an example in terms of grip on packed snow, thanks to its alpine tail which allows you to carve turns perfectly. A best-seller and we know why!
Simply put, the Wayback 92 is a touring ski for experienced skiers. Very light, it will accompany you on all your adventures, no matter the difference in altitude, and will let you send from the peak to the car park.
