The Vision 98 is a freerando/all-mountain ski developed by Line. Back on the market for the third time, the Vision 98 has been given a makeover to ensure it remains at the top of its game.
With its freeride shape, the Vision 98 is the slimmest and most versatile of the Vision range, which includes the 118, 108 and 98. Above all, it is the brand's lightest men's ski. Its narrower shape and lighter weight make it more effective than its counterparts for freeriding.
All skis in the Vision range feature THCtechnology. This technology is Line's innovative secret weapon. The Triple Hybrid Construction technology combines 3 materials (Aramid, Carbon and Fiberglass) and uses their properties to absorb maximum vibrations and provides amazing cushioning, without weighing down the skis. In addition, they are all designed to have the Partly Cloudy Core, an ultra-light and very strong core that provides strength and stability.
They also have a shape similar to the Sick Day 94, and a more consistent double rocker (9-2-7) for more downhill versatility. They also feature a wider sidecut and a more flex construction for a playful and enjoyable ski compared to what we are used to seeing for light touring.
Freerando or all-mountain, the Vision 98 will delight fans of versatility wanting to trace the mountains from all angles, light on the ascent, powerful on the descent and perfect in the air for anthology backcountry lines!

THC ™construction
It is the combination of three materials, aramid, carbon and fibreglass, which have different vibration frequencies and provide cushioning to the ski regardless of the terrain or speed.
Sidewall
Ultra-high-density polyethylene walls at the edges absorb vibration for maximum durability, giving a feeling of stability
Early Rise
The rise of the tip and tail starts sooner as the skis' profile moves away from the centre, making cornering easier and helping to keep the skis planing. It also means effortless lift in softer snow!
Early Taper
The widest point of the sidecut starts to narrow sooner in the tip and tail, reducing powdering and providing stability.
Directional Flex
The softer tip allows for easy pivoting and float while the stiffer tail provides power, stability and control at high speed.
5-Cut
5 different turns radiuses for a more intuitive and agile pair of skis.
