The Travers CS are ski touring boots by Fischer.
Weighing less than 1kg per boot (980g ) thanks to its carbon base, the Travers CS are ideal for experienced touring skiers looking for a light and rigid model.
What's more, the Active Cuff technology on the Travers CS has an 80° rotation angle so you can easily walk without feeling restricted by the boot. With that in mind, you can't complain about being tired during an ascent - it won't be the boot's fault!
On the descent, you might think that such a lightweight boot won't offer the best performance, but the No-Torsion Base, an aramid plate inserted in the sole, will increase the torisonal rigidity of the boot for added power and excellent support. In addition, the plastic Grilamid collar reduces weight while offering true robustness, for impeccable performance on both ascents and descents.
The BOA tightening system is a dial which controls a cable and a pulley. It is very easy to use, solid and precise, and allows a fit adjusted to the millimetre. In addition to this, a thermoformable lacing shoe as well as the technological Somatec fits your foot perfectly, so the Travers CS is also a super comfortable shoe.

Technologies:
- Somatec: the boots maintain the natural "V" position of the foot. Better control, less strain on the joints, preservation of the natural course of movement.
- Velcro spoiler: additional external fastening at the instep. Improves the support of the foot in the shoe and the transmission of the power.
- Lace Frame System: In combination with the Boa®Closure System, the special construction of the shell allows the shoe to be perfectly locked around the foot to provide a perfect fit and maximum comfort.
- No-Torsion Base: the carbon/aramid plate inserted in the sole provides maximum torsional rigidity and direct transmission of power to the ski
- Active Cuff: the collar offers an unrivalled angle of rotation of over 80° for optimum freedom of movement and total comfort when climbing.
- Lacing pulleys: the sliding eyelets allow frictionless power transmission from instep to toe and thus perfect adaptation of the shell to the anatomy of the foot.
- Motion support: A pivot placed on the collar of the shoe at ankle level increases freedom of movement backwards and forwards, making it easier to walk, both with and without skis on your feet.
- Phatt Maxx Tour: 45mm Velcro for good tibial support and excellent transfer of tibial power downhill
- BOA Closure System: the system allows easy, quick and ultra-precise customised adjustment of the shoe. It allows you to open or close the system using just one hand.
- Laceable liner: A lace liner that gives the boot a more secure, reactive feel.
- Adjustable buckle: a one movement buckle so you can change from uphill to downhill mode in a flash. Plus, the buckle can be locked in the open position.
